Life is too short to play bad games.

Together we can create quality games and player experiences.

Hello! My name is Owen Foster. I am a passionate, life-long gamer looking to forward my career in the videogame industry. Prior to the pandemic, I had an account management/retail focused professional life and saw an opportunity to enter the games industry with the boom of work available at studios in Austin, TX.

For the past three years I have worked in the video game industry, supporting various titles through both pre and post launch development lifecycles, including seasonal content. Starting as a Quality Assurance tester at Activision, I was quickly promoted to the technical requirements group focused on Microsoft submissions. I was then promoted to Senior and led a team of testers on Call of Duty MW2. Throughout my tenure I garnered experience leading both small and large teams of testers, using multiple tracking tools/databases to track issues, and providing consistent, detailed updates to producers and stakeholders regarding the current state of the project. With these skills I was able to move into a position as a Development Tester at Ubisoft, working on XDefiant.

In my day to day work, I am responsible for owning the QA processes and health of multiple in game features. Working with producers, designers, and directors, I ensure that features are primed for testing and submission while overseeing the QA aspect of the development lifecycle. This includes attending design and production meetings, creating test plans and tasks for large Quality Assurance teams as well as maintaining proper documentation and communication of feature health.

I am currently looking to take my career even further and move into Production roles. Throughout my career I have exhibited a thirst for knowledge and the ability to be efficient in high pressure situations. Please contact me if you have an opening on your team and would like to help me bring the fun and joy of games to everyone!
